Kitchen Styles in Mallorca
A style is not a catalogue picture. It is a set of decisions about cabinetry, worktop, colour, light and how the room meets the house, and on Mallorca the house has opinions: a finca asks for one thing, a modern villa another, a Palma apartment a third. These pages say what defines each style, which properties it suits, and what it asks of the room. Describe the kitchen and we pass the request to kitchen companies and kitchen specialists in your area.

Choose the style the house already has
The kitchens that work here are the ones that belong to their building. A finca with a vaulted ceiling and a metre of stone wall takes a Mediterranean or a rustic kitchen as if it had always been there and fights a glossy handleless one. A modern villa with a glass wall to the terrace takes flat fronts and a long island and looks wrong with a shaker door. A Palma apartment with high ceilings and tiled floors will take either, and the light decides.
That is why these pages start with the property rather than the finish. Each one says what defines the style, which properties suit it, what the cabinetry, worktop, flooring and lighting usually are, and what it costs to get right in words rather than numbers.
The four above carry the demand on the island. The rest are named below for the reader who knows what they want, with the page each is closest to.
Styles this site describes without a page of their own
Each is close to one of the four above and is priced the same way. Name it in the brief and the companies will know what you mean.

How your request reaches a company
Mallorca Kitchens is a comparison service. A request for a kitchen in the style you want goes to the kitchen companies and kitchen specialists on our list; they quote the work and carry it out, and any agreement is between you and the company you pick.

They quote you
Each company contacts you directly with its own price, timing and approach. We do not set any of it.

You compare and choose
Put the quotes side by side and take the one you want, or none of them. Using the site costs you nothing.
Do I need to choose a style before asking for quotes?
No. Say what the property is and what you like and do not like, and the companies will propose. A style named up front helps them price the same kitchen, which is the point of one brief.
Which style suits a finca?
Mediterranean, rustic or finca kitchens, made to the building. A modern kitchen can work in a finca that has been opened up, and the finca page says where the line runs.
Which style suits a modern villa?
Modern, minimalist, contemporary or handleless, usually with an island and a worktop that continues onto the terrace. Luxury is a level of finish rather than a style, and it sits on top of any of them.
Can two styles be mixed?
They usually are. A Mediterranean kitchen with handleless fronts, a modern kitchen with a timber island, a stone kitchen in a minimalist room. The pages describe the pure version so the mix can be described against it.
