Kitchen Services in Mallorca

A kitchen project is rarely one trade. It is cabinetry and stone, plumbing and power, design and fitting, and sometimes a terrace or a restaurant as well. The twelve areas below are how that work divides. Pick the one your project belongs to, or describe the kitchen and we pass the request to kitchen companies and kitchen specialists working in your area.

One

request describes the job

The whole kitchen

Where the project is the room.

Kitchen renovation

The old kitchen out, the room made ready, and a kitchen that fits how the house is used.

New kitchens

A bought property, a finished shell or a new build. The room is quiet and the decisions are yours.

Bespoke kitchens

Made for the room. Awkward spaces, old buildings and the top of the market.

Fitted kitchens

Chosen from a range, fitted to the room, complete. The usual choice, and rightly so.

The parts that decide it

Where one decision is the project, or sets the price of the rest.

Kitchen design

Layout, workflow, storage and light, settled before anything is priced.

Cabinets and cabinetry

Fitted, bespoke, replacement fronts and islands. Most of a kitchen and most of its price.

Worktops

Marble, quartz, porcelain, granite, sintered stone, microcement, wood. Compared for a kitchen here.

Appliances

Integration, the supply, extraction and refrigeration, decided before the cabinetry.

Light, floor, terrace and trade

Kitchen lighting

Task, ambient and the island, decided while the ceiling is open.

Kitchen flooring

Under the units or up to them, and what survives water, heat and a closed house.

Outdoor kitchens

A terrace kitchen that survives sun, salt and a winter outside.

Commercial kitchens

Restaurants, hotels, cafés and beach clubs. A separate track, planned around the reopening date.

Start with the room, not the catalogue

Almost nobody arrives knowing which of the twelve they need. What people have is a room and a complaint. The kitchen is dark and closed off from where everybody sits. There is nowhere to put anything. Two people cannot cook at once. The worktop is stained and the doors have dropped. The terrace is where the summer happens and the kitchen faces the other way.

Each of those points somewhere. A room that is closed off is a design and renovation question before it is a cabinetry one. Nowhere to put anything is cabinetry. A stained top is a worktop, and often the moment the rest gets reconsidered. A kitchen facing away from the terrace is a layout question that may end in an outdoor kitchen as well as an indoor one.

Writing the complaint down before speaking to anybody is worth more than knowing the vocabulary. It is what makes two quotes comparable, and it is the first thing a company will ask you for.

Five questions that decide the project

None of them needs a technical answer. They only have to be answered honestly.

  1. 01

Is there a kitchen there now?

A kitchen that exists is a renovation or a cabinet replacement. A finished shell or a new build is a new kitchen. The difference is most of the work that happens before a cabinet arrives.

  2. 02

    Does the layout work?

If the sink, the hob and the fridge are where they should be, keeping them saves most of the plumbing and electrical work. If two people cannot cook or the kitchen faces away from the terrace, the layout is the project.

  3. 03

    Is the room regular?

Square corners, level floors and standard heights suit a fitted kitchen well. A vault, a leaning wall or a column in the run is where a bespoke kitchen earns its cost.

  4. 04

    What is the finish for?

A rental wants surfaces that forgive a stranger. A family house wants storage. A house shut for the winter wants materials that do not mind. The top of the market wants every line right.

  5. 05

Is it a home or a business?

A restaurant or hotel kitchen is priced and planned nothing like a domestic one, and it goes to different companies. That is the commercial track.

What to have ready before asking for quotes

None of it is technical, and all of it changes the answer.

  • What the property is, and roughly when it was built
  • Whether there is a kitchen there now, and what it does badly
  • Whether the layout stays or changes
  • Rough measurements, or a sketch with them on
  • A worktop preference, or a decision not to have one yet
  • Whether appliances, flooring and lighting are part of the job
  • When the property is empty, if it ever is
  • Photographs of the room as it is

How your request reaches a company

Mallorca Kitchens is a comparison service. A request for a kitchen project goes to the kitchen companies and kitchen specialists on our list; they quote the work and carry it out, and any agreement is between you and the company you pick.

  1. 01

    Describe the job

Tell us the property, roughly what you want and where it is. Photographs and a rough plan help, though neither is required.

  2. 02

    We match it

The request goes to companies that work in your area and take on this kind of job at this size.

  3. 03

    They quote you

Each company contacts you directly with its own price, timing and approach. We do not set any of it.

  4. 04

    You compare and choose

Put the quotes side by side and take the one you want, or none of them. Using the site costs you nothing.

I do not know which service my project is. Where do I start?

With the room and the complaint rather than the vocabulary. Say what is there now, what it does badly and what the kitchen has to do. That is enough for a company to tell you what it would price, and enough for several companies to be answering the same question.

What if the project covers several of these?

Most do. A renovation includes cabinetry, a worktop, appliances and usually lighting; the pages exist because each is a decision, not because each is a separate purchase. Describe the whole project once and the company sorts it.

Do the same companies do outdoor and indoor kitchens?

Some do, and an indoor-outdoor kitchen through a glass wall is best done by one of them. Others do one or the other. The request is matched on what it asks for.

Is a restaurant kitchen the same request?

No. It has its own page, its own questions and goes to companies that do commercial work. Send it there.

Still not sure which service it is?

Describe the room and what it does badly, once, and let several companies tell you what they would price.
