How a professional uses this
The brief is your specification: the drawing, the elevations, the schedule of materials and appliances, the site constraints, the programme. It goes to companies that make and fit kitchens rather than to showrooms, and each of them prices it as drawn. What comes back is comparable because the input was.
Your relationship with the client is yours. The companies quote the work; they do not design it, and they do not replace you. Where a maker proposes a change to the drawing because the room or the material argues for one, it goes through you.

Do the companies design, or make?
Both exist on the list. For a professional’s specification the request goes to companies that make and fit to a drawing. Where you want a maker’s design input as well, say so in the brief.
Is there a fee or a referral arrangement?
No. The client pays nothing to use the site, the companies pay to receive requests, and there is no referral fee in either direction. The site is a way to get comparable quotes, not a channel.
Can a kitchen be made off the island to my drawing?
Yes. Several companies on the list make on the mainland or in Germany and fit here, and the brief should say whether that is acceptable, because it changes the lead time and who returns for adjustments.
